John Clyde Jordan

  The First Baptist Church of Florien was the site of funeral
services for Mr. John Clyde Jordan, 90, of Florien, Friday,
February 25, at 10 a.m. Bro. Mack Brister officiated, and
interment was in the Florien Cemetery. Arrangements were under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Jordan died Thursday, February 24, 1983, at 1:20 a.m., in
Fraser Hospital South in Many, following a short illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Bell Jordan of Florien;
two sons, Y. C. Jordan, Florien, and John Claude Jordan, Many;
one daughter, Mrs. James Q. Salter, Zwolle; two sisters, Bessie
Callens, Florien, and Leola Micek, Casper, Wyo.; six
grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
