D. J. Jordan

  Graveside services were conducted for Mr. D. J. Jordan, 73, of
Shreveport, at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 23. The Rev. Doug Burnley of
Janet Lane Baptist Church, officiated.

  Mr. Jordan entered into rest, Friday, Nov. 20, 1987, at Willis
Knighton South, after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the
Highland Club, and the Painters Union Local. He was a resident of
Shreveport for 34 years.

  He is survived by his wife, Lela Jordan of Shreveport; four
daughters, Barbara Lum of Converse, Linda Bruce of Keithville,
La., Elizabeth Jean Rawls, and Virginia K. Rinaudo of Shreveport;
three sons, Thomas Neal Jordan, and Roy J. Jordan of Shreveport,
Ronnie L Jordan of Keithville; one sister, Gladys Mitchell of
Houston, Tex.; one brother, Joe Jordan of Leesville, La.; two
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
