Jordan, 57, of Robeline, La., died at the V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, La., on Sunday, June 18, 1989, at 8:35 a.m. Services were held at Rocky Mount Methodist Church, on Tuesday, June 20, 1989, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Junior Mitchell, and Rev. Eddie Edwards officiating. Burial was at Rocky Mount Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Maggie Jordan of Robeline; one son, Gilbert Jordan of Robeline; one daughter, Beverly Jordan of Robeline; parents, Ernest and Bessie Jordan of Robeline; three brothers, Amos Jordan, Hoy B. Jordan, and David Jordan, all of Robeline; one sister, Judy Dubois of Robeline; three grandchildren, Waylon Boatman, Tracy Jordan, and Wesley Jordan; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included David Jordan, Hoy B. Jordan, Bobby Ivy, Elton Jennings, Truman Stewart, Lewis Stewart, Charles Berry, and R. C. Hall.
