Father Kenneth Williams will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Jordan died Tuesday, October 3, at his residence in Many. He was born to Wilfred Murray Jordan, and Mary Anne Blake Jordan, on March 4, 1910. He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1931, with a B.S. Degree. Mr. Jordan served in the United States Air Force from February 16, 1942, to November 23, 1945, with the rank of Technical Sergeant. He served in Guam for two years, and was awarded the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, Victory Ribbon, One Year Service Stripe, One Year Overseas Service Bar, American Theater Campaign Medal, and Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. He was a past member of the Zwolle Lions Club. He was baptized March 23, 1910, and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Many. He was employed with the People State Bank, November 1, 1949. He became manager, and opened the Zwolle Branch of People State Bank, on November 13, 1953, where he worked until his death. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Murray Jordan, who died February 4, 1966; one sister, Mary Nell Jordan, who died December 5, 1952. He is survived by one first cousin, John J. Blake Jr. of Many, and a host of friends.
