Roy E. Jordan

  Funeral services for Mr. Roy E. Jordan, 84, were held at 10
a.m., Friday, May 4, at Florien First Baptist Church. Interment
followed at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Mack Brister officiated.

  Mr. Jordan died Wednesday, May 2, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He was a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Florien.

  He is survived by his wife, Ethel Jordan of Florien; two sons,
Gerald Jordan of Florien, and Bill Jordan of Vivian; one
daughter, Diane Hart of Paris, Texas; four brothers, Jeff Jordan
of El Paso, Texas, Charlie Jordan of Las Cruces, New Mexico,
Johnnie Jordan, and Walter Jordan, both of Florien; two sisters,
Josie Salter of Florien, and Annie Mae Calsbeek of Orange City,
Iowa; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
