William Richard Jordan

  Funeral services for Mr. William Richard Jordan, 78, were held
Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m., at the Jennings Chapel. Interment
followed in the Shamrock Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Ed Fenton officiated.

  Mr. Jordan died Thursday, April 12, at Huckaby Memorial in
Coushatta.

  He is survived by his wife, Maudie Hinton Jordan of Robeline; 6
sons, Clyde Raymond Jordan of Robeline, Ted Jordan of Shreveport,
Glen Richard Jordan of Robeline, Travis Jordan of Marthaville,
Terry Dale Jordan of Robeline, and Gary Thomas Jordan of
Columbus, Mississippi; 5 daughters, Effie Ates of Texarkana,
Arkansas, Faye Mitcham of Marthaville, Dollie Stroud of
Montgomery, Melva Cruse of Marthaville, and Bobbie Meshell of
Robeline; 1 brother, George Jordan of Shreveport; 2 sisters, Jane
Parrish of Marthaville, and Ruby Fuller of Natchitoches; 37
grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren.
