Jordan Sr., 66, of Leesville, were held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 28, 1997, in the Jackson Chapel Church of Christ. Elders Ottis Jeane, Irby Perkins, and Travis Murray officiated. Burial was in Stephens Cemetery, under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home in Leesville. Mr. Jordan died March 26, at his residence in Leesville. He had lived in the Pickering Community all his life. He had worked for Federal Civil Service for 15 years, and the Department of Public Safety for 19 years. He retired on August 31, 1994, at which time he was serving as Communication Supervisor I, with the La. State Police. He was a member of Jackson Chapel Church of Christ, and a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Blackmon Jordan of Leesville; one son, Paul David Jordan Jr. of Leesville; three daughters, Shelia Low Dowden of Leesville, Sharon Lea Daigle of Vicenzia, Italy, and Evinne Hogue of Leesville; one brother, Lewis Jordan of Leesville; two sisters, Docia Jeane of Leesville, and Dottie Roberts of New Llano; 12 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
