Elie Jordan

  Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 24, for Elie
Jordan, 90, of Robeline, who died Thursday, March 23, in a
Natchitoches Parish hospital, after an extended illness.

  The services were held at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Foster Jennings, the Rev. Wilson Jordan, and the Rev. J.
E. Schumaker officiating. Burial was in the Rocky Mount Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include two sons, O. K. Jordan, and Ernest Jordan,
both of Robeline; three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Lee Moss, and Mrs.
Ettie Jenkins, both of Robeline, and Mrs. Ella McCauslin of
Natchitoches; 16 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and 10
great-great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Reed Byles, D. H. Ballard, Robert Snider, Otto
Hicks, Curtis Marr, and Junior Kilgore.
