Dr. Edward Everette Jordan

  Dr. Edward Everette Jordan, 79, of Robeline, died in a
Natchitoches Parish hospital, Saturday, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, at 2 p.m., in Robeline
Methodist Church, with the Rev. O. H. Prothro officiating. Burial
was in Robeline Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard
Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  Survivors are his widow; two sons, Lt. Col. Edward E. Jordan of
Ft. Benning, Ga., Everett Neil Jordan of Beaumont, Tex.; and one
daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth J. Hibbs of New Orleans; and four
grandchildren.

  Dr. Jordan attended Tulane University Medical School in New
Orleans, and was graduated from the University of Tennessee. He
practiced medicine in and around Robeline for 58 years. He was a
Mason, and a member of the Methodist Church.
