Jenkins Jordan, 82, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at Natchitoches. She was born in 1920, and was a resident of Robeline, and a charter member of the Robeline United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Velton Jordan; daughter, Elois Jordan Flynt; and a special twin brother, Perry Jenkins. She was the last of the generation of 12 children born to Andrew Jackson Jenkins and Hannah Pierce Jenkins. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Nov. 13, at Robeline United Pentecostal Church, with interment following at Lambert Town Cemetery in Robeline. The Rev. Lonnie Jordan will officiate, and the Rev. David Moore will assist. Survivors include her children, Oleda Jordan Monteith and husband Joe of Pensacola, Fla., Velton Jordan and wife Irma of Lacassas, Tenn., Troy Jordan and wife Gay of Cleveland, Texas, Janet Jordan Bockstanz and husband Randy of Robeline; grandchildren, Douglas Flynt, Pam Flynt Stier, Kimberly Monteith Johns, Paul Jordan, Amy Jordan Stout, Will Jordan, Troy Jordan II, April Jordan McMahon, Urshala Bockstanz Adams; and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Jordan, Will Jordan, Troy Jordan II, John Adams, Bobby Behan, and Bobby Manasco. Honorary pallbearers are Billy LaCour, and Roger Cotton.
