George H. Jarrell

  George H. Jarrell, 74, of Bastrop, died Tuesday, April 15, in a
Bastrop hospital, following a long illness.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, in the First Baptist
Church, with the Rev. L. H. McCollough officiating. Burial was in
Belmont Cemetery near Many, under the direction of Golden Funeral
Home of Bastrop.

  Mr. Jarrell was a Mason, a member of the El Karubah Shrine
Temple, and a World War II veteran.

  Survivors include his widow; two brothers, R. G. Jarrell of
Epps, and Dr. Faye M. Jarrell of Alexandria.
