Daniel B. Jarrell

  Daniel Bernett Jarrell, 36, of Evans, died Thursday, Dec. 6,
after a sudden illness.

  Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Galilee
Baptist Church in Evans, with the Rev. I. D. Noble, and the Rev.
Jessie Prewitt officiating. Burial followed in the Spears Chapel
Cemetery in Burkeville, Tex., under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hilley Jarrell of
Evans; two sons, Mark E. Jarrell, and Daniel H. Jarrell of Evans;
one daughter, Carma Lee Jarrell of Florien; his mother, Mrs.
Nezzie Jarrell of Evans; three brothers, Merwin A. Jarrell of
Missouri, James H. Jarrell, and Curtis M. Jarrell, both of Evans;
and two sisters, Hazel Dixson of Evans, and Avie Lillie of
Burkeville.
