Rev. Ottis Coburn officiated. Interment was in Middle Creek cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home directing. Surviving are husband, George Gandy, four children, Hoyt, Hilburn, Carl Dean and in infant daughter born Saturday morning, Jan. 2, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Mathews; three brother and one sister.3 Feb 1961 - Funeral rites for Hugh Hardee, age 51, were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Methodist church with Rev. W. C. Howell and Rev. Cecil Salley officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery under the direction of the Drewitt Funeral Home. Survivors are his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Trentice Johnson and Miss Martha Hardee, one step-son, Jack Hilton, and four grandchildren, all of Pleasant Hill. Mr. Hardee was killed Monday by an accidental shotgun blast. He was preparing to go hunting and was putting the gun in his car at his home when it was discharged. Rev. W. G. Bailey officiated. Interment was in the Middle Creek cemetery under the direction of the Dennis-Green funeral home. Surviving are six children; five sons, A. C. of Florien route one; W. A. of Mansfield, Noah and Imon of Chicago, Woodrow of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Ellen McGee, 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, also two brothers and sisters. *****************************************************************
