The Sabine Index - Joanna Ricks

  14 Jul 1950 - Last rites for Mrs. Joanna Ricks, 66, who
passed away at Sabine clinic, Zwolle, Friday, were conducted at
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 4 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Jimmie Byers,
assisted by Rev. M. L. Delk. Interment was under direction Warren
Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Jeff Skinner, Luther Corley, Rufus Corley,
Jessie Miller, and Obie Chandler.

  Surviving relatives include: sons, J. B. of Florien,
Oscar of Mansfield, W. A. of Florien, Julian Estes of
Natchitoches; daughters, Mrs. S. H. Cole, Florien, Miss Effie
Ricks, Florien, Mrs. Willie Mae Bolton, Shreveport; sisters, Mrs.
W. M. Lester, Nederland, Texas, Mrs. Robert Colston, Robeline and
17 grandchildren.
