V. L. Prewitt officiating. Interment was in Many cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Mrs. Mitchell was attempting to cross Louisiana Highway No. 1 when the collision occurred. She was taken from the wreckage alive and rushed to a local hospital where she died a short time later. Survivors are her husband, Leon D. Mitchell of Many; son, Leon D. Mitchell, Jr., of Many, daughter, Mrs. Harvey Derrbonne, of Osceola, Ark., brothers, Fred Hayes of Portland, Ore.; George Lester of Baton Rouge; C. W. Mr. Patrick was a native of Many and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Patrick, who survive him. He formerly was a druggist in Elizabeth where he resided for 14 years. He was married Dec. 25, 1930. Mr. Patrick is survived by his widow, Mrs. Inez Patrick of Many; two sons, Robert A. Patrick of Shreveport and Emmons H. Patrick of Many; one daughter, Mrs. Glenna Ramsey of Spartenburg, S. A native of Florien, Mr. Whittaker had lived in Beaumont 15 years and had been employed by Magnolia Petroleum Co., refinery for 13 years as a labor foremen. He was a member of the Baptist church. Jerry was killed instantly Tuesday by a pistol shot. The accident happened at the home of Frank Veuleman. Key was visiting Truman Veuleman, a grandson of Frank Veuleman. The two boys had been playing with the pistol, a .32 caliber Colt, when it accidently discharged in a report by Sheriff T. M. Phillips. Dr. L. H.
