Mrs. Kavanagh died Wednesday, June 8, 1988. She was the daughter of Martin and Johana Cowan of County Tipperary, Ireland. She was born October 15, 1943 in Temple Tuohy, Thurles (County of Tipperary, Irleand) formerly of Bricktown, New Jersey, she was employed as a waitress at the O. B. Diner in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. She moved to Many in 1982 and was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She is survived by her husband Mr. Eugene Kavanagh; one son, Eugene Kavanagh, Jr.; one daughter Margaret Kavanagh, all from Robeline, La; one sister, Ann Sheehy of Dublin, Ireland; three brothers, Patrick Cowan of Long Island, New York, Martin Cowan of Dublin, Ireland, and Michael Cowan of County Tipperary, Ireland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
