The Sabine Index - Robert Alonzo Kelly

  15 Mar 1957 - Robert Alonzo Kelly, 85, pioneer citizen of Many,
Rt. 1, passed away Friday, March 8 at his home after a long
illness.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at Oak
Hill Baptist church, Many, Rt. 1, with the Rev. J. P. King of
Natchitoches officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. E. Henderson,
pastor, and the Rev. V. R. Miller, pastor of Calvary Baptist
church of Many.

  Mr. Kelly was a member of the Little Flock Baptist church.

  Surviving are three sons, Rolla H. Kelly, Fisher E. Kelly, and
Donald D. Kelly; one daughter Many (sic)one sister, Mrs. Pearl
Peace, Many, Rt. 5, nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dallas
Kelley, Rufus Kelly, Wiley Wedgeworth, David Bass, Don Louis
Byles, and Leman McNeely. Interment was under the direction of
the Warren Funeral home of Many.
