The Sabine Index - Mrs. J. C. Kelly

  8 Jun 1956 - Funeral services for Mrs. J. C. Kelly, age 85
years, who passed away Saturday at 10 p.m. at a hospital in
Winnfield, were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the First
Presbyterian church in Winnfield, with the pastor, the Rev.
Robert Gage, officiating. Mrs. Kelly had been a charter member of
this church for the past 50 years.

  Surviving are two sons, J. H. and C. E. Kelly of Alexandria;
two daughters, Mrs. Manton Wood of Winnfield and Mrs. Max Brown
of Zwolle; tow sisters, Mrs. M Little of Texarkana and Miss Ella
Larkin of Winnfield; six grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Tracy L. Harrell, Ebb Machen, Ovey
Trahan, J. W. Riley, Louis Sholars and Floyd Main.

  Interment was in the Winnfield cemetery under the
direction of the Hixon Brothers Funeral Home.
