All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Wanda Clark Kelly Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Clark Kelly, age 19, were held at Delhi First Baptist Church, Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m., with the pastor, Rev. John Gibson, assisted by Rev. Earl Warren Jr., pastor of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Many, officiating. Interment was in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Delhi. Mrs. Kelly died Friday morning at 2:30, at a Ruston hospital, after a brief illness. For her burial, Mrs. Kelly was clothed in her wedding dress, which she wore on the night of Dec. 23, 1959, when she became the bride of Rufus Kelly, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald D. Kelly of Many, Rt. 1. The young couple were residing in Ruston at the time of her death. Survivors are her husband, Rufus Kelly, Ruston; her mother, Mrs. Clotee Clark, Delhi; and grandmother, Mrs. Mary Clark of Winnsboro. Mrs. Kelly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi, a graduate of Delhi High School, and attended BMI Institute in Monroe. Pallbearers were Henry Harord, J. F. Roberts, J. B., Terry, Phillip Rundell, Frank E. Maxwell, and Jimmy Allbritton.
