Margie Killgore

  Funeral services for Margie Lee Killgore, 62, of Shreveport,
were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in the Wellman's Funeral Home
Chapel.

  Officiating was the Rev. Billy O. Smith, pastor of Southside
Baptist Church. Burial was in Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant
Hill.

  Mrs. Killgore died at 12:20 a.m., Friday, May 20, at Physicians
and Surgeons Hospital, after a long illness.

  A native of Mitchell, Mrs. Killgore had lived in Shreveport for
24 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and was
retired from Kroger's Big Chain Cafeteria.

  Survivors include her husband, Joseph C. Killgore; one son,
Johnny Williams of Converse; one daughter, Mrs. Janice Chandler
of Bossier City; her mother, Mrs. Lula Burton of Pelican; three
brothers, Homer Burton of Pelican, Bobby Burton of Okeechobee,
Fla., and Clarence Burton of Houston, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs.
Ruby Ford of Pelican, Mrs. Lillian Davis of Belmont, and Mrs.
Myrtle L. Johns of Sanford, Fla.; six grandchildren, and three
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were John Williams, T. J. Bowman, G. E. Bowman, Ray
Fisher, W. R. Welborn, and W. T. Killgore.

  Any memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society.
