  Rex K. Kuhlman

  Rex Douglas Kuhlman, 68, died Sunday night, Aug. 12, in an
Alexandria hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of
Melville and a water well contractor.

  Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Blanchard
Funeral Home Chapel in Natchitoches. The Rev. Dell S. Durand Jr.
Was officiating. Burial was in the Old Montgomery Cemetery near
Montgomery.


  Survivors are his widow; one son, Reginald J. Kuhlman of Zwolle;
one daughter, Mrs. Lucy K. Moss of Natchitoches; two brothers,
Dr. M. L. Kuhlman of Montgomery and L. V. Kuhlman of Port
Sulphur; three sisters, Mrs. R. H. Bradbury, Montgomery, Mrs. M.
D. Gibbens, Baton Rouge and Mrs. J. H. Cawthon of Jackson, Tenn.;
four grandchildren.
