Nettie M. Kane

  Mrs. Nettie M. Kane, 66, of Cambridge, Ohio, died Thursday,
September 8, 1983, at her residence, after a lingering illness.

  Mrs. Kane was born in Niles, Ohio, on April 17, 1917. She was
the daughter of the late William and Goldie Scanlon.

  She is survived by two sons, Joseph Kane of Cambridge, Michael
Bellonis of Vine Grove, Kentucky; two daughters, Mary Newman of
Germany, Jennie Kane of Cambridge; three brothers, Msgr. Matthew
Scanlon of Zwolle, Frank Scanlon, Thomas Scanlon, both of
Cambridge; and one sister, Betty Dix of Cambridge, Mrs. Kane is
preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kane, who died in 1966.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Kane were held Saturday, Sept. 10, at
St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Father James Foster, and Msgr.
Matthew Scanlon officiated. Burial was held in Mt. Calvary
Catholic Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Thorn
Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ohio.
