The Sabine Index - Miranda Knippers

  14 Jun 1957 - Last rites for Mrs. Miranda Knippers, age 83, who
died at Fraser sanitarium Sunday, June 9 was conducted at Mt.
Carmel Baptist church at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10 with Rev. Oliver
Roberts, officiating assisted by Rev. G. L. Scott and G. L.
Patton. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction
of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are sons, Tom, Harve and Ed Knippers, all of
Robeline, Curtis Knippers of Many and Arthur Knippers of
Shreveport; daughters, Mrs. W. W. Manasco of Robeline; Mrs. H. C.
Oxley of Many, Mrs. M. S. Varnado of Shreveport and Mrs. Douglas
Howard of Many; brother, Elza Mitchell of Many; sister, Mrs.
Laura Eason of Fisher, 21 grandchildren and 20 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were J. C. Oxley, Grover Byrd, Bernice Manasco,
Glen Knippers, Herbert Knippers and Kenneth Knippers.
