Survivors include her husband, Luther Knippers of Florien; three sons, J. C. Knippers, Luther Knippers Jr., and Jimmy Knippers, all of Florien; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Sparks, and Mrs. Velma Hardy, both of Florien, and Mrs. Georgia West of Hornbeck; five brothers, Arlie Mitchell, Louis Mitchell, Odie Mitchell, Arvil Mitchell, and Wilford Mitchell, all of Many; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Leggett, and Mrs. Ettie Brumley, both of Many, and Mrs. Jinnie V. Knippers, of Hornbeck; 17 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Warren Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 4, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Travis McCullough, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the Warren Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Arthur Sparks, Raymond Sparks, Ottis Sparks, Dennis Sparks, Billie Knippers, and Roger Knipers.
