Funeral services were held Sunday, May 22, at 2 p.m., in the Many Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. William Crouch, and the Rev. Glen Flenniken, and the Rev. Ralph West officiating. Interment was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives are her husband, A. W. Knippers of Many; four stepsons, Norman Knippers, Many, E. C. Knippers, Nashville, Tenn., and Imon, and Douglas Knippers, both of Baton Rouge, La.; three step daughters, Mrs. Melva Horton of Many, Mrs. John Harper of Johnson, Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth West of Halltown, Mo.; two half sisters, Mrs. Ollie Merritt, Gibsland, and Mrs. W. R. Caswell of Anacoco; one brother, Lewey Strickland of Florien; and a guardian mother, Vance Rick, and Glen Daniels.
