(Barry) Knippers, 78, of Anacoco, died in Byrd Hospital in Leesville on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 9 p.m., following an extended illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Oleave Knippers of Anacoco; a son, W. C. Knippers of Anacoco; two brothers, Carson Knippers, and Rufus Knippers, both of Anacoco; two sisters, Eta Knippers of Anacoco, and Mrs. Ida House of Little Rock, Ark.; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be George Knippers, Tommy Knippers, Kenneth Knippers, Jack Johnson, Randy Bush, and Vincent LeJeune.
