W. G. Bailey and Rev. C. W. Williams officiating, interment Warren cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were members of the American Legion, the deceased being a veteran of World War I: J. B. Vandegaer, T. M. Phillips, Robert B. Jackson, W. E. Curtis, Floyd Alford, and Van Vines. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Knippers; five children, four sons, John Lavoy, LeRoy, Clifton and Eugene, and one daughter, Helen Marie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Knippers of route four, Many; also one sister, Mrs. W. C. Self of Many route four, and a large number of other relatives.
