Bro. Wayne Read, and Bro. Clarence Welch officiated at the service. Mrs. Knippers passed away May 24, at 5:30 a.m., in the Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville, at the age of 62. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Carson Knippers of Anacoco; four sons, George Knippers, and Clifford Knippers, both from Sulphur, Thomas Knippers, Hornbeck, Jeff Knippers, Anacoco; three daughters, Melba Bush, Sulphur, Eveleen Karbowski, Bossier City, Patricia Sue Harness, Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mildred Smith, Converse, Trula Moore, Slidell, 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
