Ms. Gracie Hattie Knippers

  Ms. Gracie Hattie Knippers, 84, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at
IHS of Many #2.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, at
Friendship Church of the Nazarene, with interment following a
Friendship Nazarene Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Armstrong, the Rev.
Dan Mappus, and the Rev. Winston Lowe officiated.

  Survivors include three sons, Herbert Knippers, Charles
Knippers, and Larry Knippers, all of Many; two daughters, Glenda
Thaxton, and Connie Carroll, both of Robeline; two sisters,
Minnie Faust of Robeline, and Ollie Dowden of Natchitoches; eight
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Jason Carroll, Robert Carroll, Benny Faust,
John David Thaxton, Thelton Wall, and Tommy Koss.
