Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Warren Baptist Church, with the Rev. Milton Raul officiating. Burial was in Warren Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors are five sons, Leamon Knippers of Noble, Rufus Knippers, Norris Knippers, Carson Knippers of Westlake, and Berry Knippers of Sulphur; two daughters, Mrs. W. D. Hou? Of North Little Rock, Ark., and Miss Etta Knippers of Westlake; one sister, Mrs. Walter Bakley of Many; 13? Grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
