The Sabine Index - September 6, 1973

  W. A. Koonce

  Mr. W. A. Koonce, 90, of Anacoco, died in Many, Friday, Aug. 31,
at 2:45 a.m. after suffering from an extended illness.

  Mr. Koonce is survived by his sister, Mrs. Bill McNeely of
Oakdale, and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Old Anacoco
Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jason Kay, Jim Owens and L. R.
Chance officiating. Burial was at the Old Anacoco Cemetery with
arrangements handled by Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
