J. Paul Koonce

  Funeral services for J. Paul Koonce, 61, of Hornbeck, were held
at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, in the Hixson Funeral Home chapel
in Leesville, with burial in the Beckom Cemetery in Hornbeck.

  Mr. Koonce died Jan. 22, in an Alexandria hospital.

  He is survived by his wife; one son, Paul Koonce of Hornbeck;
five daughters, Janet Koonce of Hornbeck, Kathleen Koonce of
Hornbeck, Charlotte Powell of Dayton, Ohio; Linda Parker of
Houston, and Virginia McClelland of Houston; one brother, Odean
Koonce of Hornbeck; three sisters, Evie Newson of Vidor, Elsie
Chase of Hornbeck, and four grandchildren.
