Maggie M. King

  Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie M. King of Florien, were held
Wednesday, June 1, 1983, at 2 p.m., at Union Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Florien Cemetery. Bros. Clarence Welch, and
Freddie Hippler officiated. Services were under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. King died Monday, May 30, at 1:15 p.m., at Sabine Medical
Center in Many. She was 78 years of age.

  She is survived by her husband, Loyd R. King of Florien; one
daughter, Rose Downs, Florien; one son, Loyd R. King Jr. of
Montgomery, Tex.; two brothers, L. W. McDiarmid, El Dorado, Ark.,
Willie McDiarmid, Warren, Ark,; four grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Tommy McDiarmid, Joe McDiarmid, Ricky
McDiarmid, Dennis Downs, Donnie Downs, Ted Holdridge, Kenneth
Arthur, and Jonny Welch
