Mrs. Ollie Peace Koonce

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Peace Koonce of Many, were held
Monday, September 17, at 10 a.m., in Hornbeck First Baptist
Church, with burial in Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Roy Dowden, and Rev.
Mack Brister officiated. Services were under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Koonce died Saturday, September 15, 1984, at 1:30 p.m.,
after an extended illness. She was 97 years old.

  Survivors include her son, Lincoln H. Koonce of Dallas, Texas;
one daughter, Mrs. Omer Wright of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda
Newman of Jasper, and Mrs. Modena McNeely of Florien; six
grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 18 great-great
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Koonce was preceded in death by her husband, James Koonce,
and a daughter, Mrs. Vera Owers.
