  Loyd Ray King - January 7, 1988

  Mr. Loyd Ray King, 76, died Wednesday, December 30, 1987, at
Highland Hospital, Shreveport.

  Services for Mr. King were held at Union Baptist Church.
Florien, on Jan. 1 at 2 p.m. Rev. Troy Henager and Rev. Fred
Hippler officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. Burial was in Florien
Cemetery.

  He is survived by one son, Loyd King, Jr. of Montgomery, TX; one
daughter, Rose Downs of Florien; two brothers, Henry King of El
Dorado, Ark., and Carter King of Calion, Ark.; four sisters;
Nellie Lane of El Dorado, Ark., Mattie Sue Holdridge of El
Dorado, Ark., Jewel Taylor of El Dorado, Ark., and Eunice Gorman
of El Dorado, Ark.; four grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Rosezell Fletcher, DeVon Fletcher, Loyd Dean,
Ezra Powell, Dennis Down, Donnie Down, Ralph Cook and Bill
Townsend.
