Mrs. Edna F. Knight

  Shreveport, La.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Edna F. Knight, 92, were held at 11:30
a.m., Monday, April 12, 1993, in Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Officiating was Father Daniel Walsh, pastor of St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Zwolle, and assisted by Rev. Nolan Logan, pastor
of the Christian Center.

  Mrs. Knight died Friday, April 9, 1993, at 4:45 p.m., in The
Guest House, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Sabine
Parish, and a resident of Shreveport for 50 years. Mrs. Knight
was a homemaker, and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

  She was preceded in death by a son, Eric Louis Martinez.

  She is survived by two sons, Oris Maurice Knight of Abbeville,
La., and Jesse Ruel Knight and wife Gloria of Frierson, La.; one
daughter, Katherine Rivers and husband Jodie of Shreveport, La.;
fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jackie Rivers, Buster Rivers, Odis Martinez,
Willie Martinez, Barry Murphy, and Joe Childress.
