Jessie William Knight

  Funeral services for Jessie William Knight, 89, of Zwolle, were
held Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, at 2 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church in Zwolle. Officiating was father David Richter. Interment
was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath
Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mr. Knight died Tuesday, Jan. 14, after a lengthy illness, at
Willis Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport. He was born in
Ebarb, and was a retired truck driver.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Knight; two sisters;
and two brothers.

  Mr. Knight is survived by two sons, Jessie Knight Jr. of
Frierson, and Maurice Knight of Abbeville; two daughters, Carrie
K. Rivers and husband Wilbert of Zwolle, and Robbie Anderson of
Chandler, Ariz.; three brothers, John Knight of Noble, Gene
Knight and wife Minnie of Noble, and Henry Knight and wife Letha
of Albuquerque, N. M.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;
numerous nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Glen Ezernack, Dale Remedies, Raymond Ebarb,
Benny Remedies, Bill Ebarb, and Jackie Rivers.
