Kennedy, 75, of Frierson, died Saturday, March 12, in Heritage Manor in Mansfield, after a short illness. Mr. Kennedy had been a resident of Frierson since 1905. He was born in Brookfield, Mo. He was a laborer. Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Monday, at Evergreen Cemetery at Frierson, with the Rev. Bryon Ray, pastor of Frierson Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home - South Side. Mr. Kennedy is survived by a son, H. A. Kennedy of Bossier City; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Lagars of Bossier City; two brothers, Paul C. Kennedy of Marthaville, and Claude B., Kennedy of Frierson; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. O. Lowrey, John Pearce, Floyd E. Kennedy, J. G. Ballard, Willie B. Roach, and Ellis Rose. Mr. Kennedy was a member of Frierson Baptist Church.
