Raymond L. Castro of Bossier Baptist Temple officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billy Franks of the Oakmont Church of God. Burial was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mrs. Kennedy entered into rest Saturday, April 26, 1986, at LSU Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Shelby County, Texas, and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 40 years. She is survived by her husband, Delmer L. Kennedy of Shreveport; one daughter, Tommy Kennedy Presswood; two sons, Devin M. Jacobs, Phil S. Jacobs; four sisters, Lovie Woodle, Melba Peace, Lona Williams, Loza Cook, all of Many; three granddaughters. Pallbearers were Ted Kennedy, Doug Kennedy, Earl Kennedy, Grover Woodle, Scott Lofland, George Mauldin, Dewey Mauldin, Dane Brannon. Honorary pallbearers were Buey Woodle, Delton Kennedy.
