Mary Evyline Kennedy (Photo)

  Funeral services for Mary Evyline Kennedy, 70, of Many, were
held Wednesday, September 11, 1996, at 10 a.m., at Warren Meadows
Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. Glenn Flenniken
officiating. Interment was at Friendship Cemetery.

  Mrs. Kennedy passed away Monday, September 9, 1996, at Schumpert
Medical Center in Shreveport.

  She is preceded in death by brothers, Coy F. Hearne, Hewitt
Hearne, Luther Hearne, all of Chatam; one grandchild, Kassie
Deann Mitchell.

  Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her husband, Charles H. Kennedy of
Many; two daughters, Rita Mitchell and husband Dick, and Mary
Brumley and husband Wilson, all of Many; one son, Charles Ronald
Kennedy of Many; three sisters, Effie Morgan of Hattiesburg,
Miss. Bernice Ellis of West Monroe, Glenna Mae Martin, also of
West Monroe; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one
great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Martin Laroux, Kelvin Clark, Rodney Sanders,
Jamey Adams, and Shane Kennedy.

  Honorary pallbearers were DeWayne Brumley, and Steven Procell.
