Elizabeth Turner Kendrick

  Mrs. Elizabeth Turner Kendrick, 92, died in Houston, August 30,
1995, after a lengthy illness.

  Graveside services were held Saturday, September 2, 1995, at
Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating was Dr. N. O. Pugh, retired
minister of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport.

  Mrs. Kendrick was bon on September 18, 1907, in Fisher, and
married the late Guy Kendrick of Haynesville in 1926. They moved
to Shreveport, where they were longtime members of the First
Baptist Church of Shreveport.

  Survivors are two daughters, Betty Farmer of Houston, Carolyn
Carter of Huntington Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; seven
great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
