Officiating were the Rev. Joe Thibeau, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. Interment was in Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield. Mrs. Kendrick died August 25, 1995, in LSU Medical Center, Shreveport. Mrs. Kendrick was a resident, and was born in Pleasant Hill; also her occupation was a nurse. Mrs. Kendrick was preceded in death by her father, N. L. Nichols; mother, Alma Orie Iscott Nichols; and son, Michael Wayne Kendrick. Survivors are three sons, Herbert D. Kendrick of Mansfield, Ricky Kendrick, and Jeffery Kendrick, both of Pleasant Hill; four sisters, Maggie Campbell, and Mira Wilkerson, both of Shreveport, Mona Robertson of Tioga, and Martha Ann Jackson of Kake, Alaska; two brothers, Bobby Nichols, and James Nichols, both of Shreveport; four grandchildren, Chad, Ashley, Brandon, and Celeste; and a host of friends.
