Mrs. Jeanette Koury

  Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette Koury, 85, of Leesville, were held in St. Michaels
Catholic Church of Leesville at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, with Father Joseph Montabano
officiating. Burial was in Leesville Cemetery, under the direction of warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Mrs. Koury died in Leesville following an extended illness, on Saturday, May 16, at
8:20 p.m.

  She is survived by her son, Henry Koury of Leesville, three daughters, Mrs. Pete J.
Sliman Sr., and Mrs. Jimmy Haddox Sr., both of Leesville, and Mrs. George B. Elter of
Port Arthur, Tex.; ten grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
