The Sabine Index - Mrs. Debose Kirk 
  
  9 Jul 1948 - Funeral services for Mrs. Debose Kirk were held 
Sunday, June 27, at Beulah, Rev. J. P. Fortenberry officiating. 
Interment was under direction Springer funeral home of Hemphill, 
Texas. 
  
  Mrs. Kirk, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel William 
Gandy, was born at Sabine Town, Texas, Aug 7, 1908. She was 39 
years, 10 months and 12 days old. She moved to Louisiana as a 
child where she lived all her life. She was married to Robert 
Debose Kirk Sept. 11, 1926. 
  
  Surviving relatives include husband, R. D. Kirk; two children, 
Bobbie Jane and P. L. Kirk; two brothers, A. T. and W. E. Gandy, 
all of Many, also a host of friends and other relatives. 
  
  Mrs. Kirk was a devoted Christian, being a member of the Baptist 
church. She will long be remembered as a kind and good woman and 
all who knew her will always remember her.
