FANNIE LAW Sabine Index April 29, 1998 Mrs. Fannie Law, 89, entered into rest Friday April 24, after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Sunday, April w3t at Middle Creek Baptist Church with interment following at Middle Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy McDonald officiated. Mrs. Law was a lifelong resident of Peason. She was widely known for her talent with a needle and thread. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed and was loved dearly by all who knew her. Survivors include one son, Charles Law, Sr. and wife, Loretta of Stonewall; one step-son, Hamp Law, Jr. and wife, Delciof West Monroe; two daughters, Donna Nell Brodgen and friend Henry McClure of Shreveport; and Beechel Herrington and husband Norman of Florien; grandchildren, Homer Fondren Jr., Kevin Herrington and wife, Trish; Deania McMillian and husband, Mark; and Charlie Law Jr.; one step-great grandchild, Terry Crooks and husband, Mike; seven great grandchildren, Jessie Fondren, Rachel Fondren, Cynthia Fondres, Kaleb Herrington, Kody Herrington, Emma Herrington and Blake McMillian; one step-great grand child, Danny Law; and a host of friend, loved ones, and her favorite pet and companion, "Pooch". Pallbearers were Charlie Law Jr., Kevin Herrington, Mark McMillian, Homer Fondren Jr., Mike Crooks, and Raymond Hines.
