The Sabine Index - James Elijah Lee

  10 Jan 1941 - Last rites for James Elijah Lee, age 88 years, were
held last Tuesday at Prospect church with Rev. William D. Gray of
Hornbeck officiating, Dennis-Green funeral home directing, interment
in Prospect cemetery.  Active pallbearers were grandsons of the
deceased.

  Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Lee, five sons, T. E., Hornbeck,
R. E., Logansport, W. W. Leesville, N. L., Bivens, Ark., J. S. of
Leesville; four daughters, Mrs. T. W. Conerly, Florien, Mrs. F. S.
Leach, Florien, Mrs. J. M. Davis, Florien, Mrs. F. N. Cloissner,
Leesville; three brothers, W. C. Lee, Florien, C. C. Lee, Florien,
E. B. Lee, Many; one sister, Mrs. J. M. Sandel, Florien, and 51
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
