Law 19 Jun 1936 - On Friday evening, June 12, J. C. Law was called by the death angel. He was laid to rest in the Old Pisgah cemetery Saturday, June 13. Uncle Charlie, as he was known far and wide, was born March 31, 1851 in Sumpter County, Alabama. He was an old, loved and respected citizen here in Sabine by all who knew him. My first acquaintance with him was some twelve or sixteen years ago, he being justice of the peace for Ward Four at the time and up until his health on account of age failed him. . .
