Leroy Lee

  Leroy Lee, 89, of Florien, died on Monday, Oct. 21, after a
short illness.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m., in the
Toro Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Arthur, and Rev. Owens.

  Burial will be held in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Alice Lee of Florien; a
son, Roy Alton Lee of Richmond, Virginia; one daughter, Mrs.
Doris Lee Hudson of Houston, Tex.; two foster children, James A.
Lee of Hornbeck, and Inez Villalon of Beaumont, Tex.; three
brothers, R. E. Lee of Many, and G. C., and R. S. Lee, both of
Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Brantley of Many, and Mrs. Roy
Slater of Florien; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and
9 great-great gandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Michael Lee, George E. Safer, Huey Killian,
Lester Mertins, Otto Carey, Hoy Lee, Bobby Smith, and James
White.
