Lee, 89, of Many, died April 22, at 11:30 a.m., after a short illness. Funeral services were held in the Prospect Methodist Church on Monday, April 23, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Leland Pruitt, and the Rev. C. H. Welch officiating. Interment was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving relatives are five sons, Hoy Lee of Many, Raydend Lee of Bossier City, Claude E. Lee of Lompoc, Calif., Walter C. Lee of Shreveport, and Lynn C. Lee of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Ema Cole of Lafayette, La., and Helen Gray of Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Grover Cleveland Lee, and Rufus S. Lee of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Brantley of Many, and Mrs. Leta Slater of Florien; 20 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eddie Teal, Hoyt Curtis, Osborn Miller, Norman Knippers, Jerry Lee, Lebron Lee, and Gene Pruitt.
