Dr. Roger Freeman, pastor of Trinity Heights Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park. He died at 2:15 p.m., Monday, May 4, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a sudden illness. Mr. Law, born in Marthaville, and a Shreveport resident 24 years, was a Salesman at Tri-State Distributor. He was a member of Cherokee Park Baptist Church, American Legion Lowe-McFarland Post, and a U. S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Audrey A. Law, Shreveport; mother, Mrs. E. E. Law, Sr., Marthaville; two daughters, Mary Beth Law, and Jeanette Law DeFatta of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Donahue, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Dottie Henry, Munich, Germany, Mrs. Lottie Hennigan, Shreveport, and Mrs. Linda Eason, Bossier City; and one grandson, Brad DeFatta, Shreveport. Pallbearers will be Lowell Flourney, T. J. DeFatta, Walter Brown, Travis Burson, Philip Gill, Roy Duzan, Jerry McCarty, and Edward Furlow.
